Let’s Celebrate 2026’s inaugural beachfront countdown captivates over 700,000 viewers

Organised in partnership with Sentosa Development Corporation, Mediacorp ushered in 2026 with a new edition of its annual countdown show – Let’s Celebrate – staged live at Siloso Beach, Sentosa, where close to 8,000 gathered to revel in the inaugural beachfront celebration.

The star-studded spectacle, headlined by global K-pop icons Red Velvet – IRENE & SEULGI, alongside regional and local artistes, culminated in a breathtaking 10-minute fireworks display. This beachfront celebration marked a bold, immersive shift for the iconic year-end programme, drawing in massive live crowds and strong cross-platform viewership, with over 700,000 tuning in across Channel 5, mewatch and Mediacorp Entertainment on YouTube.

With returning brand partners like NVPC and Caltex, Let’s Celebrate reaffirmed its position as one of Singapore’s well trusted, high-impact high-visibility platforms for year-end brand engagement.
