Joey 宇容

Born to be a performer, much of Joey's fondest memories from her schooling days revolved around singing, acting and hosting on stage. She is always up for challenges and has participated in competitions such as Mediacorp's Campus SuperStar in 2013, beauty pageants in university and recently even won CapitaStar's #HelloIAm social media ambassador contest.

Joey takes pride in her work. At 27 years old, she has been working towards building a career overseas. However, Joey took a leap of faith and chose to pursue her ultimate passion of becoming a radio DJ over her current job as a public servant. As she embarks on a journey of a lifetime, she hopes to tell fellow dream chasers to keep faith and follow their hearts, no matter how fearful they may be.

Eleanor 慧君

20-year-old Eleanor is a fresh graduate from Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Chinese Studies course. A passionate individual, she actively takes part in various student-run events to expand her social circle.

This competition may be her first step into the radio industry, but with her cheerful disposition along with her energetic-sounding voice, she is bound to spread warmth and positivity to her listeners.

Kelly 慧耘

At 29, Kelly is a Youtuber working under the channel Wahbanana!. Throughout her career, she has participated in various programmes, including the hosting of online shows and acting in comedy skits and television dramas. Kelly is also a producer and assistant director. Till date, she has already produced two dramas, three commercials, two variety shows and countless music videos.

Kelly has a bright and cheerful personality that is usually accompanied by her acquired sense of humour. She loves to perform and is fiercely passionate in everything she does.

Sammi 儿菲

Sammi is currently a year 3 business student at the Singapore Management University. Despite being only 21 years old, Sammi is no stranger to the stage, having previously clinched the first runner-up position in SMU’s annual hosting competition. She has also dabbled in various aspects of performing arts during her student years, ranging from acting, hosting, to singing and dancing.

With a bubbly and bright personality, Sammi aims to bring positivity to all her listeners. Through this competition, she also hopes to challenge herself and convince others to #JointheSammiCircle !

Kharissa 碧琳

24-year-old Kharissa is a contestant from Indonesia.

Kharissa first joined the media industry when she worked as a Mandarin news reporter for a television station in Indonesia previously. That was also when she fell in love with the industry.

Being a radio DJ is a whole new world for Kharissa and she is looking forward to discovering more possibilities for herself throughout the competition. She has always believed in facing her fears head-on in pursuing her dreams!

Esther 惠峏

Esther is a freelance performing artiste who graduated from NAFA with a diploma in Mandarin Theatre. She took part in ‘Miss Singapore 2019’ where she emerged as top 8 finalist and was awarded ‘Miss Inspiration’ and ‘Miss Harmony’.

Passionate and curious about life and dreams in the arts, Esther hopes to be able to strive and make a difference in the world one day with her work.

Yunis 芳娴

28-year-old Yunis is an advertising model cum video host from Johor Bahru, Malaysia. She enjoys heading to the gym during her free time and has also launched a chain of new concept fruit stores in Johor Bahru.

Yunis hopes to learn new things, discover more possibilities and opportunities through this competition by stepping out of her comfort zone. She also hopes to reach out to everyone and touch their hearts through her voice.

Jensen 嘉瑞

26-year-old Jensen is a fresh graduate from National University of Singapore (NUS) who has a keen interest in photography and filmmaking. He began his interest in theatre in high school and gradually developed a passion for the arts, which grew stronger as he took on numerous roles to explore various forms of art.

Jensen has been involved in photography and filmmaking since winning the ‘Best Microfilm Award (Student category)’ at the 2018 Lianhe Zaobao’s Microfilm competition.

He has worked on a variety of projects during his internship at a local Youtube production team, including ‘The Algorithm’ on meWATCH. With great passion in performing, he is ready to put himself out there to tell his stories through his voice.

Jeff 廷丰

Jeff has been working in Taiwan for five years as an audio-visual journalist, filming and editing entertainment news and features. You may not have met him, but you may have heard his voice on social media if you are a follower of e-news!

Born in Malaysia and being the oldest contestant in this competition, Jeff believes that his 'age' is never a barrier when it comes to pursuing his dreams. He is ready to embark on this incredible journey of becoming a radio DJ. With hard work and determination, Jeff hopes to unleash his potential and be one step closer to fulfilling his dream.
