2006年参加U频道选秀节目《校园Superstar》，成功入围女子组10强选手。比赛过程和经历也让美贵对媒体行业产生了兴趣。
在2012年于新加坡南洋理工大学黄金辉传媒与信息学院毕业后，美贵加入了新传媒，负责广播宣传工作，也成为了YES 933 电台兼职广播员。
间中，她也参与了不同表演和活动的户外主持工作。不论是华乐演奏或是歌唱表演，都让她累计不同经验。
美贵一向来热爱音乐和歌唱表演，也特别喜欢听本地歌手：孙燕姿，蔡健雅和林俊杰的歌曲。闲暇时候，写写词，哼一首曲，希望有一天能写出代表自己的一首歌。
